WordCamp Iloilo (like all WordCamps) is 100% run by volunteers. Without your support this event would never happen. WCILOILO needs your help, and we are always open to new ways of trying to make things easier on those that step up.
You see, the quality of a WordCamp depends entirely on the people who give their time to make it happen. Being a volunteer is more than lending a hand, it is the secret sauce that makes a WordCamp a WordCamp!
As a volunteer you’ll get to meet and speak with attendees from all over the world, rub elbows with our speakers, organizers and much more. Plus, volunteers get free tickets and receive exclusive volunteer-only swags.
As a volunteer at WordCamp Iloilo, you will:
- Receive a complimentary volunteer’s ticket for the entire two-day event
- Get an inside look at the planning stages of the conference
- Have the opportunity to meet speakers from all over the world
- Be on the ground, meeting WordCamp attendees
- Attend a speakers/volunteers’ after-party (TBC if we have the budget)
- Receive exclusive volunteer-only swags

- Processing registration and getting people signed-in
- Putting together swag bags
- Handing out t-shirts
- Helping out at lunch time
- Helping speakers/being a room host
- Helping setup and hosting during the Workshop and Contributor Day
- Running around with microphones during Q&A sessions
- Helping people find where they need to get to at the venue
- General administration
